Witch one would you take for daily use. Cuting rope paper and other small Things. I have the manix family ,the native and the line up of temperance. But looking for some thing to and to my spyderco collection.

I'd say the Ocelot because I have a feeling that one will be going extinct once the 2007 catalogue is out. The Caly 3 just came out and is a hit, and the Endura is going to be around forever.

For me, it would probably be the Caly 3:) I should have mine this week:D Endura is a tad large for my EDC stuff (I own several Enduras). Excellent workhorse, though. Ocelot is a little "up there" in my neck of the woods, though, my Caly 3 wasn't cheap either... If the cost was an issue, I would probably go with the Endura. Bottom line - none of these are bad choices:)

I'd say get an Endura. It is hard to realize just how good Spyderco is until you experience bread and butter FRN models, especially for daily use. Well, you already have a native. You cannot go wrong with any of these knives. I love my UKPK which is very similar to the Caly3.

I, personally, feel that the Caly III is the ultimate mid sized EDC and should be owned by every knife lover/user. The blade cuts forever, and the profile is so fantastic that it continues to slice even when dulled to the point where most knives would be useless. It's not for heavy work by any means, but for the average guy's cutting needs, I honestly don't think there's a better knife out there.

I'm gonna vote for the underdog... Although I don't have one yet, I think the Ocelot is quite cool. Don't know if I'd want to actually use it for its intended purpose (hunting/skinning knife), since the paw prints would get full of guts & gunk. However, for a general purpose pocketknife, it looks pretty nice.

Sounds like the caly3 is going to get the vote. If i have enough endura4 will be number2. I love all my spyders so far you guys advice and thoughts are much thanked i would never be able to choose there are so many cool spyders in the line up . :D

You picked 3 nice knives there, I would be completely satisfied with the Endura. It will not fail you, a tried friend indeed.

eastr77, my vote will go with the Caly3, BIG TIME!! I love mine.

Get the Ocelot and Caly 3 before they disappear. The Ocelot is a great design and all girls love it (so you can give it to them once you tire of it). It was a design that was in the wings for so long...you have to get it. A monumental milestone. It can't be easy to do those pugs.

The Caly 3 - it's the best knife of 2006.

The Endura - if you haven't handled/owned an Endura, you don't know what Spyderco is all about. It's like if you had the $$ to buy a porsche, you only choose to buy the Cayenne (an SUV) - when porsche is about the boxters and 911s!

Those are so very hot pics ront that real makes the caly3 look like one of the family.

Thanks for the comments on the pics guys. The Caly3 is easy to get great pictures of:D.
I don't think the Caly3 is going anywhere soon. It seems to be an extremely popular knife!!
The Ocelot is a very nice knife. Those paws are really cute, but have been the source of some dissatisfaction by some owners. They can fill up with gunk and are hard to clean out. A friend that I work with had one from a Pass Around here at BF. It is a very nice knife with a pretty thick/strong blade.
