With All the Changes at Marbles, Is th Heat Treat Still the Same?

All of us who love Marbles have noticed the change of direction that Marbles has manifested. Thinner stock, fewer models, etc.

But my question is this--Is their heat treat on 52100 still the same? They have done an excellent job in this area, and I would like to buy a few more that are in current production if I can be confident that the knives they are making now are subjected to the same excellent heat treat that older production Marbles received.

I can live with thinner blade stock and the models they are offering, but if they are also cutting corners on their heat treat, I am not interested.

How about it? Has anyone bought any current production Marbles? If so, do they perform the same as your older ones?

I'd like to know, too. The real question is, are they still using 52100B or have they switched over entirely to 440C stainless? Jason Stewart seems to think that Marbles has gone to 440C for all their knives. Check out his comments in the Marbles forum at knifeforums.
