A great big thanks to all of you who have served our great country and kept us safe...... And you have kept the "Last Best Chance for Humanity" safe as well.......Without your sacrifice and the sacrifice of those who served before you, there would no longer be the greatest engine for human good that the history of our world has ever seen......

The rest of us owe you huge thanks and a large measure of gratitude......

Ethan

P.S.
I am especially thankful as I get older and fatter and realize that I am no longer fit to fight and too damned feeble to run very far........ E

Thank you - Mr. Becker...and if running does not work so well, just stand y our ground and take careful aim. Have a great day sir!

Thanks Ethan.

Funny, I was in the USMC from age 17 to 20 (during Korean War) and I just turned 80 last month, but since the Marine Corps was such a big part of my education (after high school and before college) I still think as a Marine about all sorts of things, keeping in shape for one and selecting the BK7 as my favorite knife. :D

Thanks Ethan!

As a veteran, I'd like to thank my parents for giving me life and raising me with a sense of right/wrong and a spirit for service. I'd also like to thank my family, especially my kids, who kept the home fires burning while I was off doing what needed done.

Thanks Ethan.

It's beat into our heads and becomes part of us. It definitely feels forged in. I got out in '05 and still think completely in a military manner 95% of the time. Can I kill/drink/f#?k it or use it to do one of the aforementioned? No, well someone should explain it's use to me then. My time in the Corps was something I craved and absolutely needed. I still miss it everyday. It was my pleasure serving this country. I appreciate all the observance and well wishes. I also would like to thank my brothers and sisters for their service.

Thank you Ethan - and all the others - for thinking about us vets!
My father was a three war vet (WW2, Korea, Viet Nam) - severely wounded x2 in the Pacific - died as a result of agent orange exposure in Nam. Uncle served in Europe WW2. Wife and I both SEA vets. Son was in - son-in-law actually at NG this a week end. In retrospect it seems like a lot. We all gave something . . .
