The Stryker is hanging on AMAZINGLY long. BM has now pretty much gone with Blackwood and Snody exclusively, what feasible new models can you think of?

I suppose BM has decided that the sales have dropped enough that they can better spend the assets for manufacture on new, faster selling designs. I'm pretty much a solely BM man now, w/ an 805, 735 or whatever one had the red/black handles, and Ambush I got in trade for a Spyderco Delica. Come Christmas, the 732 or 805 is going to my brother, and the 805 is going to BM for an 806 blade replacement. The only new design that grabs me is the new NRA lockback folder with the single 3.5"ish blade and nearly full flat grind. Some of the blackwater designs look nice, but not nice enough for the asking price. I want a 710HSS and a 42MC, but wont have the money for them until long after New Years. I just hope the 710 doesnt get the axe, and I can find a 42 for sale. The 710 is a classic, as is the 550 series, IMHO. The 42 shows the origins of BM, and the various Nimravus designs are still around. The 707 looks promising, and has better visual proportion than the 705 IMHO. I would love to see an 806 style fixed blade, w/ M2 steel and a proportionally enlarged 5" blade. The blade would have to be wider, or the clipped point wouldnt look right. I love that handle shape from the 806/5. Classics never die, just increase in price on the secondary market.

Yup, increase in price and rarity as in I can't find new ones when I finally get the cash
