With what to color micarta handles?

Hi,

I would like to know with what kind of material I can dye natural colored micarta handles? I would like to have a dark or black color.
I read I can do it with WD-40 but will it stay dark?

RIT may work on micarta, but I've not had good luck with it on fabric. I dyed up a set of custom camouflage BDUs for hunting, and the RIT faded in no time. I had way better luck with a dye from Dylon. Their permanent dye is excellent on cloth, so I bet it'd work well on micarta as well. They are also based out of the UK, so it may be easier to get where you are. :thumbup:
