...having some bad ones.

I traded my RC-4 back awhile ago and have explored getting a CRK or Busse fixed blade of similar size. While they're very nice knives I really miss my 4 and will be perfectly happy with another ESEE product.

This time around I'm looking at a 3 as well as a 4.

Thing is...I need your help. I would like to buy a good condition one thats been stripped. Convexed would be great too. My 4 was stripped/convex sharpened and shined up nice and I just really dug how you could see the quality of the steel. The grain exudes toughness.

So, anyone wanna sell me a stripped 3 or 4 or can anyone direct me to a source. I realize I could strip it myself but if ones already done and available Id prefer that.

Thanks.

I've only got words of wisdom from the great Tony Dobbs, he told me that I'll get tired of them, and he was right!!!!!

Well I can put a great convexed edge on dang near anything, ask dinozz. But I think you should leave the coating!

you've seen the error of your ways, just repent and buy ya one! :)

no way I'd touch the coating or stuff...to me they are perfect...but whatever makes ya happy, just so long as you get yourself one!

I can't help you with your request as I'm across the pond, but I do know how you feel about the withdrawal. I sold my RC-4 to my best friend in order to fund an ESEE-4 (and to spread more ESEEs around ;)) and now I'm climbing the walls waiting for it to be shipped!

You have to do what I started to do. I now buy and keep an "extra" couple of ESEE knives around for just these purposes. It's kinda cool to see the reaction on someone's face who's never seen a RAT/ESEE knife when you pull it out to use it around them. They immediately fall in love with them. Depending on the person/situation I have given "my" knife as a token of friendship and to spread the word about how great these knives are. But I could never be witout another for the week it would take for a new one to arrive so now I plan ahead.
