This is a very good tool that does not mark the pivot as it has a pin that fits into the hole, centering the tool and ensuring that it does not slide or slip out.
Condition: Both knives are in new condition, unused and unsharpened. I bought both from dealers. The SNG has a few places on the pivot where the coating on the pivot is marked from adjusting the pivot prior to getting this spanner.
