Marble's model #46 LT. Most books put them with the hex butts as early - mid 60's. 1957 Marbles introduces the Jet Pilot Survival Knife, they make one run for the military, it's was too expensive, so production moves to Camillus. Then in 1959, Marble's starts marketing the knife to Civilians. These knives come after that, perhaps as a way to use up parts from those knives. Marble's ceases production of knives in the late 70's, till it reintroduces a knife line in the late 90's.

In the 2000's AG Russell had a run of these made using micarta buttcaps and handles, plus old stock blades that Marbles had a few crates of.
