Witnessed a great display of sportsmanship today.

Today I had the opportunity to attend the Ohio State - Michigan football game-or THE GAME as it is known around here- with my two kids. I'm an Ohio State grad and my daughter is currently in grad school there. Our quarterback went down with a broken ankle and while he was on the field the Michigan quarterback came out to console him. Devin Gardner-now my favorite Wolverine of all time.

Sure was a bittersweet victory. Beat Michigan but Barrett breaks his ankle doing it. Gonna make the Big Ten Championship an interesting game.

Pretty classy move by Gardner. Glad we won, but like Garth said...terrible seeing Barrett go down for the season.
 
Yes I was pretty impressed when I saw that too. OSU Grad myself and also a Jerry, haha. Bummer about Barrett
 
My son and I attended the Auburn- Ohio State bowl game in Tampa quite a few years ago. It has been our only association with Ohio State fans in a football setting. I still tell people whenever the subject of rival fans comes up that the Ohio State people we encountered, both before and after we won, were among the most classy we have met.
 
Didn't get a chance to watch the game but that makes the game that much better.
