I picked this up at a flea market a few years ago and been working on it polished the head, re profiled the blade, cut the handle down and put it back on, added wilson grip tape to it and a little paracord,it cuts great now and looks good

I've added some before and after pictures now. I believe this is the Western Auto company Wizard brand of tools and there carpenters hatchet because of the hammer pull and nail puller. I haven't been able to find much information on it and any would be appreciated. I couldn't find an image of it in original firm so that would be a big help

Is wizard the manufacturer or is it a Private Brand? Didn't the old Western Auto Stores use Wizard as an house brand name as well as Revelation?
