Gday guys...last night at an auction i picked up a Wilkinson sword 10 inch chefs knife,bnib although box is old looking..on the blade it is marked>>wilkinson sword,est 1772,carbon /stainless,professionally forged,made in Italy....I always assumed that Wilkinson was an English brand,so can anyone tell me when Italy started making their knives??...It appears to be a very nice knife,do,s anyone have any experience with them?...I paid $15 usa for this knife,,was this a good buy??.....thanks for any info....FES
