WNY Gathering goodness......

Sadly, my daughter & I were not able to attend the entire weekend this year. I just made sure we were there at 10:00 am sharp. Doug & Mary were great hosts as usual, thanks. Not much overnight camping action this year. Maybe next year will be better. My daughter & i saved up some money for this event & were not disappointed. Toooj had an array of KaBar & BK&T goodness.



My daughters are the 3 boxes on the right. Mine are the 5 boxes on the left.



Daughters KaBar #5602 Gamestalker, KaBar/BK&T BK-10 Crewman & KaBar #5706 ZK Swabbie. She worked all summer & saved up for them.



My new KaBar/BK&T laser engraved BK-9. Because you can not not have a BK-9 (this is my new spare 9 ). KaBar # 5600 Potbelly w/piggyback. KaBar # 5602 Gamestalker. 2 spare KaBar/BK&T BK-10's. Last but not least, is a machete that i traded a Kentucky belt axe for.



I am REALLY diggin the up-front jimping on this KaBar Gamestalker. :thumbup: to the person bold enough to bring something out of the norm to the mainstream. It simply works. This will be a GREAT skinning knife.

All in all, i am super impressed with what we purchased. Quality of blades, coatings & sheaths are simply awesome. I REALLY like my daughters ZK Swabbie as well. Did not plan on the Potbelly but once i held it, well, it was all over & it was mine. Once again, Toooj made me go home broke !!! LOL

Excellent Knives, I also have several sets of Ka-Bar Beckers, most are two knives per set, but a couple of sets have three to a set one of my favorite 3knife sets and your Swabbie made me think of mine, I combined my Swabbie with my BK-7 and my BK-17 it's a natural match the tips match very close and the set is very functional since the BK-7 is a bit lite to chop with I added the Swabbie I also put the Black Handles on my Swabbie it doesn't look like a toy anymore and matches perfectly, my BK-5 I matched with my BK-15 and my BK-9 with my BK-10 if I go with a 3knife carry I just add the BK-16 to them On my BK-5, and BK-15 I added the BK-4 which I consider my lite functional set but on my BK-2 it was easy to pair it off with thevBK--16 but I wish Becker would put the BK-1 the Brute in production because sometimes I find the BK-2 to be a little short especially when I baton with it, so sometimes I add the O.KMC. GEN2 SP-51 which is a very close match or I add the Ka-Bar Zomstro it's not a bad chopper but it does bite deep so I have to remember to back - off on it a little and all well, Thank You very much for sharing some awesome knives and for the reminder, Thanx.
