My first time in a kayak, I swiped this pic within the first 5mins of being on the water

Mrs. Trade, one of the best people I have ever met, tougher than wrought iron, and I mean it.

This is what I looked at for 7hrs, and 16 miles of water. Yar, sexy.

Trade using my Phatbob to handle some meat. He was surprisingly good at it. :D

That's all I got. I stopped taking pics and started having the best time of my life. My first time out, and we spent 7hrs in a boat, and covered 16miles of water. I had one of the BEST TIMES OF MY LIFE!!!!

I got into Blue Heron Campsight late, my fault, strung up and hung out for the evening, and got ready for the next day.

In the morning, we got up, had some caffeine and danishes to start the day, checked our loadouts, and headed out. After we got the cars stage, we were getting ready to head out.

We put in and tested the water so to speak, and off we went. I had more fun that I could explain. I'm hoping Trade's pics can tell th tale better than mine. Once I hit the water and I understood the mechanics, I was all about having fun and forgot the pictures.

Great trip, not the last, those around the area I play in, we got more trips planned. :D

sweet pics. i though trades beard would be a little less manicured and little more backwoods mountain man, ya know from and or for barlow..... wheres mrs moose? not along for the ride?

yes your are looking fit. hitting the gym? or is flexing up a 5th of bourbon from table to mouth really paying off?

hells yes, a day in the kayak on some water is a day well-spent. looks great and I'm slightly jealous that i wasn't there. Also slightly jealous to see trade using your Phat Bob, and I actually own a Phat Bob. It's just that I know that anyone using one is having such a good time.

Lady couldn't make it, she had to work.

I'm just exercising and eating better's all, it seems to be working, imagine that. :D

We had a great time, Trade's mountain man beard was lost to tragic campfire incident, back in Barlow, it would seem.

Yar, great time on the water, I can't wait to do a trip like this again.

Y'all would have hated me if I'd shown up. I'd have wanted to fish under every one of those rocks along the way. 7 hours would have stretched into about 14. :p
Great looking trip. Would love to see some GPS coordinates on put-in, camp sites, and take-out.

trade needs to post that pic in the safety thread. He looks like he's about to slice his calf off.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I wanted to fish out some, but honestly, I wanted to paddle. I only got outta the boat 3 times all day, lunch, to sort out some equipment, and to setup camp. :D I didn't really want to do that either.

It was such a blast, I can't wait until next time. :D I started looking at some different boats last nigh, but I have to say, Wilderness Systems seems to be leading the pack, followed closely by Perceptics. Ocean's on the list as well.

Clich, Mrs. T actually just trimmed it up for me with that Phat Bob. That's how she checks the keeness of an edge when somebody hands it to her. On my beard.

That knife truly feels like holding a heavy duty straight razor. A slicing machine. The satin finish on the scales of the D2 model makes it some of the best looking micarta out there.

I'm on the worlds slowest motel lobby computer, so I'll post some pics when we get home. Maybe we can get a Beckerhead paddle trip together someday. I had a suspicion Moose would like this and sure enough he took to it like a...well...like a moose to water. I'm surprised his face isn't sore from all the grinning.

A truly great time was had by all. A very memorable trip.

A quick shout out to Hooper's Outdoor Center for their generous support.

I would have just made some jerky with it. Wish you could have made it on this one Biscuit, but there is plenty of water left for another time.

(It actually wasn't as bad as the picture looks like)

Looks like some fun right there !

Thanks for the pics.

I've gotta' do something like that before the summer's over.

My kind of fun. More pics if you got 'em !!

Big shout out to Hooper's, they were the ones that made this float happen. Check out my sig, and check them out. Some really great people.

Did you guys get wet at all? Every time I'm out in my kayak, I'm in and out of the water. But of course that's AZ, where a lot of the time it's Get Wet Or Die.
