well i was looking at the practice balisong at knifezilla.com. And i was wwondering how thick it was, so i looked at it, then looked at mine. So i started rubbing, and pushing and sliding hard on the dull side. I thought "hey this is even sharper then the practice one's sharp side so i should be alright i wont get cut" Well then i think " i wonder how sharp the sharp side of my balisong is? so i turn it over and to my amazement i am NOW looking at the dull side!!

So i was rubbing, carresing, pushing, and sliding the sharp side and it didnt even break skin! Woha! DULL

That is funny!

I have been in the kitchens of some folks who didn't have kitchen knives. No, they had metal sticks with handles! My GF's parents have these kinds of metal sticks. Once I took a paring knife and made sawing motions on my wrists while cooking with my GF. We looked at eachother and laughed! When I'm cooking over there my AFCK becomes a kitchen knife.

lol god dam ole timers wont take the time to relearn nutin. BTW what are aFCK?

This is an AFCK:

The image is from 1SKS. Actually, the image is of the AFCKII with an oval hole. Mine has a round hole. Now they have an AXIS lock AFCK too. The AFCK is one of the classic production tactical folders. Awesome blade shape, good steel, double liners, and your hand is VERY secure in the handle. The knife was designed by former SEAL Chris Caracci, who has a forum here.

sweet!. but i dont need a "tatiticle" knife i already got a plan. with a 30 dollar investment atleast and a few hours everyday related to balisong slinging ill have all the ladies in no time!

to make major points with the GF's parental units sharpen up those knives. i bet after that in moms eyes you can do no wrong. :D

I can relate to this comment because I am particular about keeping knives sharp, whether it is mine or one of the kitchen knives. It seems that everytime I take the time to sharpen one of the kitchen knives my wife will do her best to cut herself. I have one of Tichbourne's small kitchen knives in route now and after I sharpen it I am wondering how long it will take her to discover that this is not the average store bought kitchen knife.

Rhino:

I don't sharpen their knives because of what Burke said. I did sharpen the knives once, and her parents just cut themselves alot. Good thing the cutlery they have is crap, so the edges dulled very quickly. They were so used to cutting things with metal sticks that they don't now know how to use a knife properly. I got my girlfriend a Spiderco Ladybug and made her a knife so that she will be edge-u-cated! She knows how to cut with a knife.

so are these metal poles.... just metal poles or are they like mental poles with big wooden blocks on them?

knives have edges. THese things look like knives, but have no edge. hence I call them metal sticks!

AH. hehehehe i got an idea for a apirl fools prank. sharpen all the knifes HAHAHAHHHA!
