A couple of weeks ago I was fortunate enough to place the winning bid at the Chicago Premier Knife Auction for my first Wolfgang Loerchner piece. I am very excited to have this in my collection and am sure there will be more to follow.

7 3/4" overall, 4 5/8" blade. Handle is carved mastadon ivory, blade steel 440C, fittings are 416 stainless. Really very elegant small dagger.

A true beauty by the Master from Canada!
How lucky can one get, Jon?!

A great start for a Loerchner section in your collection!

All the best,

Very nice addition to your already exceptional - and increasingly diverse - collection. Wolf is an astonishing talent.

Wow Jon that is a very nice dagger and the biggest nickel I have ever seen
You can thank my seven year old son for that fine nickel. Straight from his coin collection! :)

Thanks for commenting, Brian. I was very proud of this image.

Just stunning, but what would be expected other than that :D.

Congratulations on this excellent purchase.
