Hi guys!

I'm in the market for a new daypack and a couple on-line stores are having their close-out sales, however, most of the models I'm interested in (from Gregory and Kelty) are only available in the Women's version, I've read the items' description and apparently the only thing that changes is the suspension system.

So, has anyone used a Women's backpack before? Are they really that diferent? I'm kind of skinny, could one of those fit me?
It's just that their prices are great.

The main straps are made to curve around the chest of a woman. I'm guessing that the height is going to be shorter, compared to the men's model. Overall, I think they are made for women's curves.
Can you go try on some similar models anywhere near you? Even other brands would give you a better idea of the "cut" and fit of a woman's pack. Just a thought.

Yeah, I was afraid of that, I can deal with the shorter height but the curve on the straps might be an issue. Thanks foxx.

Shorter frames with generally less ability to extend the frame. Straps cut to go more around instead of over the chest. "girly" colors for trim pieces. strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.

Thanks hlee, I don't mind carrying a pink bag but again the strap configuration might be annoying, I'll have to personally try one.
