NICE!! I won $150.00 3 times in about 2 months with Chinese numbers on the Hot Lotto Sizzler. 3 numbers plus hot ball. Since then I haven't won more than $12.00. :o

Whatcha buying?

Ya,I can't count how many times I won $3,$7 & $11.I've been playing the same numbers for about two years now...sooo $365x2=$730....well at least I got some of that back:o

Don't know what I'm getting yet, probably go towards Christmas presents.

Its those little winnings that make ya keep playing.

That $500 is HFWM (Hide From Wife Money). You never give up the winnings.

congrats:thumbup:

on a similar note I worked around a Pipefitter at Browns Ferry who hit 4#'s plus the powerball...$50k. Brought home $37k if I recall correctly. Seen him at hell-mart 8months later and he stated that w/ 4 kids and 3 "baby-mamas" he's lucky to afford a Happy Meal.

I never won anything. :(

Of course, I don't buy any tickets. ;)

And the next number is..........NOT YOURS!

I know a guy in the PRK who wrote a small program that runs 1,000,000 lines of numbers for very PRK lotto and then compares them to the picked numbers. As far as I know, he has never hit all 6 and he has been doing this since the lotto began in 1985.

If you go by percentage of what you spent to play, I'm one of the Oregon Lottery's biggest winners. I have never bought a ticket. But, the custom at the local bar, Clancy's (best burgers in the whole world, by the way) is that when someone wins big, they buy a round for the house. I have enjoyed numerous drinks and one dinner courtesy of lottery winners.

One day I was having my lunch when a man came out of the video poker room looking very depressed. The bar tender asked if he was ok and he explained that he was hoping to win money to pay this month and the last two month's rent but had, instead, lost his entire paycheck and was now broke. I probably made some under-the-breath comment about lottery being a tax on stupidity. And he took a swing at me which I blocked. I thought for sure that we were gonna have an old-fashioned bar fight when suddenly th music played... the rare music... the music which means that someone in the video poker room just won $3000! the biggest jackpot possible. The winner came out all smiles and whooping and excited. The first man asked, "Which machine?"

"Third from the right."

"That was my machine..." And the first man went for the winner just as the police arrived (The bar hostest having placed the call when he swung at me.

Come to think of it, amidst the brawl, that guy never did buy the house a round.

Congrats on the win, reminds me of an old friend of mine who won the Pick Six in Jersey a few years back, I was at his house waitin' for him to come home so we could go to the Gin Mill down the street when he came rushin' in the house all excited, yellin' to his wife, "Quick grab your bag and pack it I just won $20,000,000 in the Lottery." he said where we goin', on vacation?"

He said, "What's this we crap, I said I won the Lottery, your get the heck outta here, now beat it!":D;)

Enjoy the windfall.

:eek:Wow,That's some tale Gollnick!

I know some people say the lottery's stupid or "redneck retirement fund",or like you said "tax for stupidity":D
I don't count on it,like that guy you're talking about. He was playing with scared money & everyone knows scared money never wins.
I spend a whopping $11. a week for a dream that may,but probably not happen, but it could....who knows?I spend more than that on lunch most days.Plus a lot of that lotto money goes towards education ,so it's not all that stupid. It's only stupid if you count/rely on it.
I don't drink,do drugs,or gamble(except lotto:foot::D).I'm really bad at gambling.Everytime I tried it,I lost....cards,craps,slots,wheels,bingo ,all of it,I suck at.:o

:thumbup:Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

Congrats John!!!!!! Have fun with the dream, that is what it is about.

Sounds you should buy a stonewash Emerson. No time like the present ;)

I got 4 numbers out of 5 once on Kentucky's Cash Ball game. Won 300 instead of the 200,000 if I'd got one more number right.
