NICE!! I won $150.00 3 times in about 2 months with Chinese numbers on the Hot Lotto Sizzler. 3 numbers plus hot ball. Since then I haven't won more than $12.00.
Whatcha buying?
Ya,I can't count how many times I won $3,$7 & $11.I've been playing the same numbers for about two years now...sooo $365x2=$730....well at least I got some of that back
Don't know what I'm getting yet, probably go towards Christmas presents.
That $500 is HFWM (Hide From Wife Money). You never give up the winnings.
If you go by percentage of what you spent to play, I'm one of the Oregon Lottery's biggest winners. I have never bought a ticket. But, the custom at the local bar, Clancy's (best burgers in the whole world, by the way) is that when someone wins big, they buy a round for the house. I have enjoyed numerous drinks and one dinner courtesy of lottery winners.
One day I was having my lunch when a man came out of the video poker room looking very depressed. The bar tender asked if he was ok and he explained that he was hoping to win money to pay this month and the last two month's rent but had, instead, lost his entire paycheck and was now broke. I probably made some under-the-breath comment about lottery being a tax on stupidity. And he took a swing at me which I blocked. I thought for sure that we were gonna have an old-fashioned bar fight when suddenly th music played... the rare music... the music which means that someone in the video poker room just won $3000! the biggest jackpot possible. The winner came out all smiles and whooping and excited. The first man asked, "Which machine?"
"Third from the right."
"That was my machine..." And the first man went for the winner just as the police arrived (The bar hostest having placed the call when he swung at me.
Come to think of it, amidst the brawl, that guy never did buy the house a round.
