Wondering value on a custom made Bowie

It was the heaviest knife I've ever owned I bought it at a pawn shop. It had an eagle shaped handle and a very large hilt the hilt and handle was made from a single piece of brass, the blade was approximately 13 inches and the knife weighed a total of 4.75 pounds. Sadly any pictures of this knife died with my old laptop. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The knife you describe sounds very much like the large clip blade Mexican tourist knives. Probably has a dark bone handle too.

According to forum rules you are not allowed to ask values, but I will tell you it's not worth much. Too cheaply made and too common.

Thank you for that I was unaware of that policy, do you know where I could ask such a question but as I pointed out the handle was full brass there was No bone only brass. Ijs
