Just got one yesterday and cant put the thing down!
Tight little cutting gizmo. I was down at Plaza Cutlery buying up the rest of thier SOG mini-tools and thought id check out the SAT knives. They just got the aluminium handled flashes in and they had all the other SATs as well.
I wouldnt have guessed the Blink would charm me like it did. It struck me as being more solid than the Flashes (maybe it was just the floor models there. They let me select the one I buy from thier whole stock and I picked up a gem with absolutley 0 bladeplay and great fit.
Fits a 3 fingered grip very very comfotably.
My spydie Dragonfly needs a lanyard for me to grip in even though the handle is the same size, the Blink fills my hand fine. Not to mention how fun it is to flick.
This is my favorite execution of a aluminium handle too, almost feels like titanium. I usually dont like aluminium because it feels weak, this knife feels strong.
Struck me as kinda ugly when I first saw it on the web, not so in person though. It looks quite classy, sophisticated without being flamboyant....high-tech.
Sharp. I opened a 12 pack of beer and it cut through some of the cans by accident. Has that ever happened to you? Messy! What I had to do is grab up the cans real fast and drain the beer from thier "wounds"....like a beer vampire.

I got my dad a Mini-Xray (he's always wanted one)
My buddies up in Pasadena are getting Crossgrips
My Stepmum is getting a Crosscut
for my genuine Mom...A shiney gold TiNi Crosscut is on the way.
And my old Powerplier that has served me for more than 6 years will be finally bequeethed to my best friend Trenton. Preparations have already begun for the sacred "Passing of the SOG Cerimony/Drinking-Contest".
