Sometimes life is a little funny. Just when I was really down and out, and in severe pain and under the influence of my double chocolate martini........they won't give me any pain killers because they would make the situation worse.....so I made my own pain killer:D  my landscape guy stops by late and we get to talking about the yard and end up on knives. So I show him my collection and show him this cantina and who knows..........we may have a new Khuk Knut in the making. He just loved the knives...........and I didnt' even show him Karen's collection.................:D

Any way, since in reality I'm under the influence of the spirits, to make a short story long........he's only charging me $100 to fix all my yard up. I am so pleased with his work and he seems to be so realistic in his prices. I expected more and told him if it took longer or whatever to let me know. I'd make it right with him. There are still good people in the world!! And lots of them hang out here!!;) You guys are the best!!:D

You werent pointing a khuk at him when he made the offer were you? :0)

Just when you think it's all crap someone does something good.

Thank God.

Damn!! And here's me still thinking etchings still do it...

Have you tried the line, "Would you like to come see my khuk collection?"

Might work better than, "I have a house full of huge sharp knives. Want to come see them?" That could make prospective partners nervous.

LMAO. When Lil Bit first saw my Recon Tanto she got all a twitter.
Her eyes light up at the sight of a well made knife.
She is a bigger knife knut than me.

Please post your Pain remedy er...the double chocolate martini........recipe :D

I could sure use one of them about now.;) :D

Good on you Gin, ain't it funny? Just about when we seem to lose all hope for humankind we meet someone who dispels our feelings or proves us wrong. Good thing dat. ;) :D

There are so many good folks out there.

Wife left her purse in the public library last month. When she drove back there 45 minutes later, heart in her mouth, someone had turned it in, $$ and all. Wife was happy for days thereafter. :)

Bad things can happen to good people, but so can good things, and a lot of times when you least expect it. Truly is a crazy world we live in. You may indeed have created another khukuri nut Gin, good on you. :D
