With all that has gone on this year, I 'lost' my Busse goodies from Blade somewhere in the house. I knew I'd bought a few blades from Garth, but couldn't find any except the Gladius.

Well today I found that box. So, once again I am the proud owner of a ton of Boss Jacks and even a drunken Basic 11!!!!!!

Also a great big thanks to the bros I saw at The Creek on Friday. Couldn't stick around too long, I had a bike ride to go on Saturday and Sunday. I rode the Hilly Hundred!! One mean ride. One hill was 1.4 miles long and a 22% grade at times:grumpy: Bout kilt me, but made it.

A special thanks to Beef for, well you know what for.

Wow! It's like Christmas all over again... :)

I "lose" my knives frequently and am always excited and relieved to discover them once again. Maybe fondness does make the heart grow fonder.

At least you didn't misplace the Gladius, if that happened you'd know that you have a real problem :D

Hey, Chuck! Good to hear from you.

Hilly Hundred bike ride? Good for you! There was a time I could do that, before I got fat and lazy. :o:rolleyes:

chuck, good deal man, as rg said have not heard from you in a minute, in fact their is a couple posts and pm's where i have ask about you.

good to hear from ya bro, holla back sometime, when you get the chance...

I love those kind of surprises! So your assymmetrical grind on the Basic 11 is off?

Gonna hafta bring some show-n-tell stuff to the Indy show next weekend...

See ya then...

Chuck,
I'm sorry I missed you, I had hoped to see you on Saturday.

I hope you had a good trip and sounds like you had quite a ride on Saturday.

Eric

So your assymmetrical grind on the Basic 11 is off?

There were a small number of these at Blade where Jerry explained that the grind was not quite perfect in appearance, although still perfectly functional. In light of that, he sold them at a bit of a discount.

It was good to see you at KC, Chuck. It sounds like the ride was everything you expected and more!

I hate losing stuff. I've got a Meaner Street that has been missing for 6 weeks. Every week I spend a night or two wasting an hour looking. Manroom, car, bags, etc.. Nothing so far... I'm thinking it dropped out of the car sometime on a Cinci trip. Who knows? It may still turn up.

Congrats on the Hilly Hundred and finding the box!

Nice to see you on the Forum, Chuck!

And isn't it wonderful when you find something good!

Thanks, Shaman. Been hard to post, but I've been here in the background. Trying to keep up on my bros and sistas.

Nothing like a lost box of infi to make your day when you find it!

I wish I had a box of sweet Infi that I could loose and then find.

For the most part I keep my infi in the safe. I don't have enough to just put in a box some where and misplace it.

I have never had that problem...lost EVERYTHING ELSE ;)

Probally due to the fact i wipe down my collection with a silicone cloth like one a week ;)

J Ps that bike ride sounds intense!!
