wood carving knife kits available?

My father has expressed some interest in a set of wood carving knives. I would like to find just the ground blades, and let my finish the knives with scales, etc. Jantz offers a set of 4, but I wouold like another option if its available. Anyone know of a company or individual that might handle something along those lines?

I would like to have it done by Christmas.

I get a woodworking catalog from a company called Woodsmith, (maybe, not sure about the name) I think I saw a blade or two in their catalog.
 
One of my favorites that I use quite often was a Christmas gift from my wife from A.G. Russell. Of course she got the link, the information and phone number from me well in advance and several hints along the way. :D

These are great. For the money there is a lot there and they work well.

You might also look at the Flex Cut carving jack because I also have one of these and its a lot of folder with everything you need to make some very nice carvings. I use this a lot when I travel and its very capable and sharp.
