Wood carving/whittling knives

hey guys i am getting into carving and i was wondering what knives you guys recommend for carving. i have a carving set i bought from hobby lobby, but i am just wondering if there is something better out there. thanks!

Anyone interested in carving knives is welcome to check out that thread. For me personally, I'm also starting to look at the traditional forum for advice on folding whittling knives.

One of the things that I love so much about knives and Blade Forums is the splinter hobbies. I have knife use and collecting, trading, sharpening and woodcarving. All of which can be researched and obsessed about here!
