The Wood Frogs are mating. I heard the frogs calling today. Spring---is close!

Hey Steve--We kind of lost our Springs here in the NE, but that's OK. I just heard the Spring Peepers too. The Robins are singing and the Phoebes have arrived. You can't stop it! The Warm, is coming!

Kismet---BEE-UTE-EE FULL pics! Thanks. We had a German Shepard named Kismet. She was wonderful.

I've been seeing a few frogs hopping across the highway these past couple of nights myself. And a couple days ago it was warm enough for me to go running in shorts. Then again, I'm not in Kismet's neck of the woods. :p

Snowed hard enough here in Latteland to make my flowering fruit trees say, WTF?! Snow again tomorrow then supposedly spring like next week.

Global warming anyone?

Well it's 30 something degrees at about 8am in the southern-most part of the state as I write this. However, spring IS coming.

The redbuds are just starting to poke out a bit

We had 7 inches of rain in 2 days last week so all the worms crawled/floated to the surface. I now see Robins as fat as game hens bobbing along because of it.

My grass is now green and 7" high. It's technically my job, but my sweet wife is off for spring break and has agreed to help me out this first week:thumbup:

Oh, and let's not forget that the pool man is now back on a 7 day a week 65-70 hour work schedule...who needs sleep, right guys?;)

As an ex-midwesterner, I appreciate the pics.

Spring is on its way out here in So. Cal. The flowers are up, some setting seed, and the grass is showing the first hint of brown, and the ponds are getting smaller. Here we really don't have four seasons, just two: wet winters and dry summers. The wet season is almost over.

Still, the tree frogs are singing in the canyons. Enjoy the spring!

Damn, when I saw this thread I thought wooden frogs, never seen those on kukri perhaps there like the ones on flysa....:p

But its good to hear springs getting there, its realy slow here this year, the blackthorns have hardly even started sprouting yet & the hedghogs are still hibernating.
