Wood handle

For a narrow, shallow split you can use superglue.

For a deeper, wider split, something like two-ton epoxy.

Either way, tape around the edges to keep the glue/epoxy off the good wood.

Sand afterward to match the rest of handle.

People can give more precise advice if you post a clear picture of the split.

Thin crack, yes superglue works great. Add glue, let dry, and add again until the crack is full. Sand flush and oil the handle.
