Can anyone identify the types of wood on these two 'ganzaaaaaa knives? I'm happy enough just to have them, but my curiosity is getting the best of me to find out what they are.

I asked, but I forgot what the answer was:confused:, I was fondling that Meaner (or a very similar one) at Blade.

Sweet handles !

I might be wrong as all hell but I would say that that wood was dyed green. Looks a bit like Koa.

Not sure about the green but I'm pretty sure the red is dyed curly maple. Garth would know for sure!

I have had wood like that before... all I needed was one shot and it cleared right up

I think Rons correct on the maple.
But when wood is dyed as these two it is sometimes very hard to tell.
The green looks like it could be burl from some type of wood, but have no idea what type.

I think I remember Eric telling me at Blade that the green one in post #1 was green dyed Maple Burl and the one on post #12 was green dyed Curly Oak.

Thanks for all the replies and compliments! Looks like the MS might be dyed Maple burl and the AD dyed curly Maple from your feedback. I'll go along with those observations, makes sense to me!

IDK but that red and black canvas one is HOT!!!

Yeah, that one was at Blade this year. Spectacular!! I won one of those at the Custom Ganza as well. Can't wait for it to show up...

I was talking to one of the Busse Crew, older gentleman with a white beard and white hair. I think he said it was Maple of some sorts...
