Do they make them for regular production? Not only can I not find any for sale, but they're not even listed out of stock. There's the option of have one made direct from CRK but with wood and damscus, vendors often list each knife individually with a picture of the exact one listed, which is nice because you can choose the variance in colors, patterns, and grains.

It will be worth the wait. Wood looks good with Damascus.
I agree. I like the contrast between the polished scales and the dark blade. Hopefully they come out in the next batch they release. If plain and micarta are already seeing damascus in their standard runs I don't understand why wood isn't also.

They just haven't made many yet. There are a couple out there that were either ordered when the Sebenza 31 was first announced or sold through dealers. CRK is backlogged and the wood inalyed 31 damascus variations will come out steadily.

I'm thinking of a wood inlayed 31 damscus or a CG 31 damascus w/cabochon. Just waiting on the perfect one.

I did some editing to the pics of this guy's knife (https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/small-31-boomerang-micarta.1751944/#post-20039408) and I gotta say. Micarta on damascus with gold hardware looks pretty sick. If this one was ladder I probably would've bought it and changed the hardware. Maybe I'll forego the wood and end up making a direct order after all...

I’ve got a plain 31 with raindrop and gold hardware on order. I looked at that same for sale ad also and was really impressed

Yeah I wasn't particularly drawn to micarta with damascus looking at stock photos but I think the photos in that listing kinda sold me on them.

It's crazy how much money we'll spend on tools just to use to make money. I wonder if we could write them off on our taxes...
Never really thought about that. I’ve wrote off tools but never really thought about knives

I’ve never seen micarta and gold. Not bad at all. That’s the only reason I’m waiting on my direct order is because I want gold. Finding a lefty 31 plain/raindrop/gold at a dealer is gonna be real rare
