Just finalized an order for a large wood inlaid Classic with the good folks at CRK. Will get either of the three woods; rosewood, ebony, or bloodwood. Also will have the new steel S30V and dual thumbstuds. It will take a month or two for it to be built so I guess I will have to continue carrying these dang old leather inlaid Classics;) :D until the new woodie is ready.

Ah, the things we sebenzinistas have to endure!:) :) :)
 
Ahhh yes.....mine was ordered with the ironwood about a month ago.....*SIGH*.....still waiting (I requested an April "birthday"):)
 
Geez Art, that's a terrible hardship to have to endure.:) Tough it out...come on...you can do it...

Hello, I cast my vote for the classic rosewood inlay.......it's beautiful!!:D I bought one about one month ago and I don't regret it. It's one of the neatest Sebenzas that I have. ;)


I really like the inlay pattern for the classic wood inlays. It's three pieces of wood rather that the usual two.

The only thing that was not avalible then was the newer steel......Mine has the bg42 blade, which is not to awfully shabby!!! Neat knife and beautiful wood. They called it Madagascar Rosewood.;)

My bloodwood large Classic came in the mail yesterday. I think there is a rosewood one at Arizonacustomknives.com. It is not on the sight yet, give Jay a call.
This knife is incredible. I will be taking it next weekend to a self defense course in knife fighting. I removed the pocket clip in favor of the clip insert(got it from the factory). I have a custom made belt sheath made by G2(Gary Graley). The only thing though, it is black with a mountain design on it. I'm thinking I need to get another to match the sweet color of the bloodwood.

Bloodwood. Even sounds wicked! The color is a redish brown with dark grain. At first I thought it looked kind of plain. But the more I look at it, the better I like it. I replaced the black pigtail cord with green nylon 550 cord. Looks pretty sweet. Sorry I can't post a pic.

You guys out there NEED one of these. This along with my silver contrast small classic make one hell of a carry combo! :D
