I am new to the phenomenon of the Sebenza (just got my first), and I trying to figure why some have a single wood scale on a side, while others have two. Any help would be appreciated. I like the looks of the solid scale myself.

Hi Dan and congrats on your first sebbie. in regards to your question

The one piece wood scales are on the Large and Small Regular Sebbies, they are limited to a number of 60 total per year.

The two piece are on the Classics, not sure of the production #'s

I have a Small Plain and a 2002 Small regular Box Elder

Hope this helps

The classic wood inlay recently were added to the CRK line up, I had made the question a while back thinking the wood inlay would really help the knife being a little thicker, and on the clip side, there is one piece of wood that helps to make the clip not as pronounced when gripping the knife, very nice job! I was going to go with a small classic inlay with desert ironwood, but there was a long wait on something like that, and ended up getting a large with madacascar rose wood inlay and using my smaller knives for the smaller chores and the large wood inlay for all the rest.

Outstanding job CRK, thanks,
G2
