wood inlays - how many are made

some time ago I bought a small classic with Box Elder inlay.
I've since been told that only 8 knives were made with this inlay in the classic shape, 6 with decorated screws and two stndard ones, one small and one large.

I was wondering if this rare even by premium inlay standards
 
That number sounds low, unless you are talking about the run TNK had of Box Elder with red in the wood they had as an exclusive some time back.

that's the ones, I was wondering how often that sort of thing happens with CRK

My small one now has a scratch on the handle that I can only thing came about from being kept in a pouch for a while before I started carrying my WH everday instead (uk law means I can't carry a locking knife without a specific reason)
