Wood Scales Maintenance

What is recommended to maintain the wood scales on Model 110 knives (or any wood scales for that matter)? I have several 110's on which the wood looks dry and not as shiny as shown on many 110's pictured here. Thanks.

I use a liquid furniture polish with good results.

I use Hoppes gun oil-usually after oiling the pivot, just use whats on the paper towel that I wipe off the excess with maybe with a little added if not soaked enough.

Any furniture polish would suffice and Renaissance wax is about the best.
