Hey guys, could one of you that have one of the new Woodchucks post a straight on over-head shot with one next to a Bushfinger, a Recluse, or a Woodsman so I can get some perspective on it?

when I get mine I will shoot a photo, together with bushfinger. But probably it will take another 2-3 weeks. Last time 2 of my fiddlebacks spent 3 weeks at custom...and woodchuck has not arrived at custom yet... Hopefully somebody will be quicker with the photo.

Hey Mist,

I was planning on waiting until "Two for Tuesday" for a pic like this but, given how many pictures you always post for the rest of us, I felt it rude to hold out any longer.

Woodchuck is second from left. When you get to the maroon's in the middle, it's hiking buddy, arete, bushfinger, kephart, bushcrafter. Then the KE bushie and EDKarda in orange.

Cool, thank you! Now for the T for T thread you could do the Woodchuck with the Kephart right beside it :) The Woodchuck looks noticeably larger than the Bushfinger and the Kephart, would like a better idea of how much. Still trying to decide which I want more, a Woodchuck or a tapered tang Kephart. A guard-less Woodchuck would decide that for me lol. Would be awesome at the cutting board!

Yes, Mistwalker... A GUARDLESS WOODCHUCK! WoW! I love that idea! I want 2! Can we special order that????

Andy occasionally turns out guard-less models of some of the knives. Maybe if we ask him nicely he may do a few guard-less Woodchucks :)

The far left is a Camp Nessmuk I believe.

A guardless woodchuck would basically be a Santoku kitchen knife. The woodchuck's lines reminds me heavily of a santoku.

The knife on the far left is up for some debate I guess. I called it the 'camp nessmuk' but Andy referred to the one he just made at the GKM show as a camp nessmuk...which I'm wondering if that was an error? because it looks just like his regular Nessmuk. I don't know. I love that thing though.

That Nessy type knife is awesome looking!

I own/operate restaurants and cook on a regular basis. I have my favorite kitchen knives -- a Woodchuck without a guard could become my go-to 'little knife' in the kitchen! I would love for Andy to make a full size kitchen knife for me in the 8" to 10" range! For now, a Bushfinger works nicely cooking!

Exactly, but more woods friendly and a better point, AND a Fiddleback :)

I find my Woodsman indispensable in the kitchen lately :)

Andy's Kepharts work really well in the kitchen, would be better without a guard, but the knife profile is nice for food prep.

The Kephart is great for food prep, but yes, would be better without the guard. It is a hell of a bushcrafter though, it's my favorite bushcraft knife so far.
