Found a woodchuck's dream book. I was on the KF stick/cane/? forum and ran across this. It has ice tips that screw into rubber walking tips, it has tops, several kinds of wood ( cocobolo, walnut, etc., pre-cut and shaped for canes ( including fluted shafts ), hames - look them up...

All kinds of stuff to play pied-piper to the woodchuck. You won't get out of there without making plans before you leave.
 
But Woodchucks should have a trusted friend hold their credit card before they visit that site :D The KF Stick and Cane forum is full of bad company, too. That's where I ran into Yvsa :p
 
Took the M43 by Kes. & the M43 by Durba to test:
Kes:Blade-17&3/8",Blade width at widest-2&3/8",Handle length-4",Base Butt length end to end-2&1/2",Cho from bolster-3/8"
Durba:BLADE-17&1/2",Blade width at widest-2&1/2",Handle length-4&3/8",
BASE BUTT LENGTH-3",Cho from bolster1&1/8".Kes. is more like Terry's design.
Picking them up ,they both have a forward heft cant(like holding a 1st. generation Colt 45)a little more so with the Durba,Chopping down two inch trees with either was no problem!Used them both, against a part of the tree still standing ,to see if they would cut against vibration,or just bounce back!They both bounced back but both would still leave deep cuts!! Like them both ,Kes. is a "little" better finished than the Durba,Durba also has the butt secured by two pins at the bottom!Which would I choose??Well ,I don't think another Durba will be made "EXACTLY" like mine & I have used & carried it "more" than the other K's,BUT having BOTH I don't have to choose, do I??hee!Bet someone will NOT be satisfied & "demand" I choose & why,OR, are you all going to let me off the hook??If you all want more tech. details ,ask,& I will try to explain!

SURE... we'll let you off the hook alright... but seeing as how you carry your Durba more, why don't you send up the Kesar for me to test on some Quakin Aspen type trees:D.
