Woodcraft knife

Hello all, just finished this up for a customer. I really enjoy making these old patterns. The grind on this one goes from the spine to the cutting edge in one continuous convex grind. Hope ya like it

Blade; 4 3/8ths inch convex ground satin finished AEB-L with knurled spine.

Guard; 416SS

Handle; leather, maroon linen micarta, black G-10, SS spacers, stag antler pommel.

OAL; 8 1/2 inches

Sheath; 8/9oz tooled wickett & Craig leather, Heiser styled sheath.

Oh man, that is gorgeous. Is that a Marbles look knife? You used much better steel than the one I used to have.
 
Gorgeous knife and sheath, does that W&C leather come that dark or did you have to dye it?

I dyed it, I only buy undyed leather but they have some pretty dark predyed leather. If you give them a call they'll send you a sample of color swatches.

Elegant. I prize my Fieldcraft (52100). It's one "the only" knife I'd consider.

Thanks Ed, I like 52100 a lot. I try to stick to stainless steels because no one cleans thier knife before they put it away. Then they want me to buff out the pits, well that doesn't work to good.
