Okay so, during my free time I like to make wooden blades, bla bla bla, I don't like to be redundant, so these are my blades up to now.

hey man these are looking pretty good. very good design. everything seems to be even and flow well

Thanks, it took awhile to not have uneven edges and weird notches every were, i have plenty of crap i didn't post, but i still need to figure out (well more just make myself) make multi piece works, right now all i do is one piece and wrap the grip in leather and my favorite material, electric tape, it looks like plastic or rubber, but is very easy to pull off, but i want to challenge myself and make a three piece blade with g-10 handle, if i can get my hands on some.

Nice designs. Are they models for steel knives that you will make?

I wish, i don't have the resources, and my parents wouldnt let me, (im only 15) but my uncle who works with motorcycle repairs, and metalwork, told me he might help me out and make a knive over the summer, but I do hope on making knives at least as a hobby in my adult life, and while wood and metal are two entirely different animals, the basics are fairly similar, cut a blank, grind, sharpen(for metal, not my wood ones), but yea only the unnamed one i would like to trie out in metal, i should be able to post up four new pics today, one is a modified xephos shape, one is a poor quality play kopis, one is a poor grinded tactical recurve of my own design, and one huge play sword. Btw when i say play sword or knife I mean that lessthat less time went into the grinding, althoug i still screw around with higher quality...
Thanks {3V}

anyone have any name suggestions for my first knife I showed, I think I might name it "VENI VIDI FAILCI" in honor of 1234... depending on what FAILCI means, probably offensive, but, meh...

FAIL-CI... VENI VIDI FAIL-CI in place of VICI, I FAILCI

Thanks :D, one question, have you ever tried to make a wooden knife? Im sure it would be fine, the oldest knife here is at least number 40, all my others look... Odd :),
Anyway, thanks for the compliment.

hey, ya got to start somewhere. when i first started out i got my materials from home depot or from a scrap yard, 90% never held an edge because they weren't tempered but they looked cool haha

I recently came across some knives and utensils made of bamboo, I believe they are used for cutting vegetables and fruits, Some steel blades cause vegetables and fruit to brown.
Your designs look pretty cool, Fantasy style, At least you should be all set if you are ever attacked by vampires.;)

......At least you should be all set if you are ever attacked by vampires.;)

not to get technical but....... firstly the wood needs to be either ash or oak do to its hardness & ''mystic'' properties and secondly, the purpose of the stake isn't to kill them but rather to stake them into the coffin so they cant excape, they are undead regardless if they have a chunk of wood in their chest. its like the dismembement, its so they cant move or go anywhere...... side note: anyone is pretty well done for if a sharpened piece of wood is shoved through their heart to keep you in a pine box, living, undead or otherwise lol

VENI,Those are awesome! Your designs are something you do not see on this forum. I think fantasy knives is where Jason Brouse got his start. I say keep at it !! Maybe send pics of your work to Jason and ask him for advise.I think there is a fantasy knife forum too.
