I hope I'm not asking a question everyone knows the answer to here, but I've been away a while. Is it still possible to make a wooden model and have the Kamis make it up? I realize it coudln't be anything that's been done already. I was just curious. I have one design in particular. Its a classic that I don't see done right very often, the Rio Grande Camp Knife. Most of the models I see look kind of clunky. That's the particluar problem with making this knife. I haven't seen a factory model that make it thick enough and with a distal taper. If this is cool, I'll make the model and you'll have it within a week or two, but if not, I entirely undertsand.

Welcome back Scott.:)
It's still possible to do what you're asking.

Uncle Bill will have the final say on this but you might want to search out some of these terms, HIS(s)SB, HISSSB, Cherokee Rose.
There's a couple of pix of the wooden model I made for a H.I.Scagel Style Southwestern Bowie that may already fit your bill.
I would say if not then go for it. I would be interested in seeing what you have in mind.
I 1st talked about the Bowie model about a year ago and it took me a long time to get it done like I wanted it.
A simple scetch is what I started with to see if all the guys liked the idea.
Bob Kenny made up a Bolo of which only a few were done and Uncle Bill may even consider one of a model if your heart is really set on it.:)
