Wooden ZT knife box!

I saw this at the coffee shop near my school! Sorry about the pictures, they were taken with my cell.

That is awesome and awful(would have looked way better without the writing on the knife) at the same time...and is that a closed ZT0550 made of wood in the inside ....haha
 
Yeah the one on the inside is made of wood, but doesn't open. It just really surprised me to see this box at the shop haha.
 
I agree with the writing being hideous! But that is pretty cool if you think about it. I assume the maker liked the zt 550 so much he wanted to make the box as a tribute. Pretty novel idea. Other than the model number and steel Id tags should be on the other side of the knife (locking side) a simple ZT would have sufficed. I still give props to someone dedicating a box for holding 16 0550's! Maybe they know something we don't!?
 
Sounds like something JimW needs haha... so OP could you found out how much they'd charge for it
 
Apparently the boxes aren't for sale. The thing that really impressed me was how nicely the inlaying was done. Barely anything could be felt as the wood transitions.
 
I don't think the maker was there. This coffee shop has a bunch of locally made art stuff in there, which is pretty cool. So you get a bunch of jewelry and woodwork stuff.

I admit I like the wooden 0550 inside and the box itself, but maybe a different interpretation of one on the lid and 6 more 055x knives and I think I could fill it up! :D
