Good news for those of us who love the look of wood and the stability & durability of kydex sheaths. The folks at Kleerdex now make kydex sheet in woodgrain patterns. Grain patterns offered are: Pearwood, Riga Birch, Black Cherry, Wild Apple, Spiced Fruitwood and Honey Maple.
The downside is that the sheets have a thickness of 0.042 (1.05mm), which is a bit too thin for sturdy sheath bodies IMHO (0.060" and 0.080" being typical).
