Yesterday I was at the Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association bimonthly knife show in Marlborough, Massachusetts. One dealer had a single large wood-handled (box elder) Sebenza, NIB, for $560. Another dealer had a used '99 wood-handled large Sebenza in excellent shape ... for $400. He claimed that he had actually paid just $150 for it -- but I'm not quite sure I believe him. If it had been a small Sebbie, I would have jumped at it ... and had a hard time justifying it to SWMBO  . Instead, I got myself a Microtech Medallion stonewash and a Beretta Trident from Greg at Skylands Cutlery.

$400 is a great buy on a used large wood inlay. I don't know how the guy would have gotten it for $150. He must have been at the right place at the right time. I just got a small wood inlay on the forums for $450. New in box 2001 model. I am carrying it today :D I don't suppose you would have his (the guy with the $400 large WIS) phone number would you :)

I've got a NIB small 2000 wood inlay Sebenza that I need to part with. If anyone is interested, email me for details.
