Yesterday I was at the Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association bimonthly knife show in Marlborough, Massachusetts. One dealer had a single large wood-handled (box elder) Sebenza, NIB, for $560. Another dealer had a used '99 wood-handled large Sebenza in excellent shape ... for $400. He claimed that he had actually paid just $150 for it -- but I'm not quite sure I believe him. If it had been a small Sebbie, I would have jumped at it ... and had a hard time justifying it to SWMBO
. Instead, I got myself a Microtech Medallion stonewash and a Beretta Trident from Greg at Skylands Cutlery.
