Skipping through baileys, I ran into an axe I hadn't seen before. Its a rafting axe that Baileys commissions over seas, with a straight handle. The Woodland Pro, in 3 or 5 lbs. Pretty cheap, so I'm leery, but it looks interesting. Anyone get to see one of these in person, or use one?

Don't see that one on their site. I presume it was in the print catalog then?

I'm not sure if its in their printed version, I saw it online. Item # 15650.

WoodlandPro Single Bit Falling Axe (3 lbs.) with 26" Handle

Sorry, should have been more specific. They call it a falling axe, but it has the extended poll of the rafting axe and the heavy head on a relatively short handle.

I have in my collection is a racing axe from WoodlandPro. Very poor handling head -burrs from the edges I removed the sharpening stone.
