OK in the woods of east Texas, I very seldom get a shot over 100 yds. My primary game will be white tail. I like hunting with large hunks of lead, and have had a hankering for one of these rifles.

Although I think that the pistol weighs about what the rifle does. I know that the concept of a rifle and a pistol that use the same round is a bit old fashioned, but for my purposes, I think this will be fun. About the most dangerous thing we have in the woods around here are the two legged meth heads and hogs. Neither should be a problem for the 44 mag.
