was pretty amazed just how many hickory and walnuts i saw uneaten.
but obviously some critter had gathered and ate these holed up under a deadfall

Awesome post! I'm very jealous. I need to take a day off and do some stump shootin'! May I ask, which Bear recurve is that in the photo?

it's a '62 griz(made when i was only 4 yrs old...)
the other bow is a martin "stick" one of my brothers bought me some yrs ago.
great shooting little bow. need to get the osage selfbow out.
somehow i think i'm afraid i'll hurt it. but whats the point if i dont take it to the woods??

Nice shooting. But where is the pic's of you making coffee?:D

Thanks for sharing.

i know...sometimes im a space cookie. this hike is the third ive used the honey stove/trangia set-up and still havent taken a pic of the combo in action....
after we finished up and headed on, thought of it. kyle(my hiking bud) was like "well, just set it up again for a pic" nay, not the same. maybe next time.
