Here is one of my Woodsman models with some of Shadetree Composites handle material. This one is Tan Burlap and I gotta say it is some pretty cool stuff:thumbup: Kinda looks like a snake skin.

Sweet!

That looks Great! I am pleased to know you are happy with it; also I trust your customer will be happy.

The burlap is some cool stuff, I just need to get it into more hands ;)

Thanks guys. Todd, I will be ordering some more of this material in the near future. I really like the way it looks.

Great News Nick.

I ended up making a full sheet, so I have plenty. Just let me know how much...I know where you live now;)

Damn, that is awesome. It really does sorta look like snake skin. A woodsman is still pretty high on my list.... :)

That knife is just incredible. Really well done Nick. The burlap has a great look.

That stuff is tremendous looking! Is it grippy when wet?

Yes, it has a different texture than most anything else, and seems to retain grip well when wet. Just about everyone who gets it in hand really like it.

Thanks guys!

That looks great. I had a knife or two with the burlap micarta on it and what you couldn't capture in pictures was the depth of the material.

You could see down into the material and, like you say, it looked like snake skin.

Great looking stuff.

Wow that Burlap looks great!!!

I am glad you are keeping your original mark on some models Nick, I always liked that mark.

looks great .... any chance of getting this on the mini-Scout that I ordered ?

I have to own up...this one is MINE!

I was hoping to get pictures last weekend but didn't so I can't take it anymore. I hope to get some this weekend.

The pictures don't even do the burlap micarta justice - each change in light or viewing angle really highlights it. It is absolutely beautiful.

I also want to compliment Nick publicly. This is one of the finest knives I have ever held - period. The craftsmanship and quality in a custom knife are unparalleled to anything that I have been around.

It was worth the lead time and it is a superb piece of work. I am proud to own this one. It handles beautifully.

I can't wait to work it.

Thanks man. I'm truly happy your new blade has a good home:thumbup: It will last you many life times.

Thanks again
Nick:)

Ha!! You finally owned up Troy!! :D:thumbup:

As I told ya....You got a kick ass blade brother.:cool:
