Some of you may have already come across this, but for those who haven't, Backcountry Hunters and Anglers has started producing a really good little series on basic woodsmanship skills. They're really simple and straightforward and no-nonsense in my opinion, and well done. Great for folks who are just getting started in outdoor pursuits, and some good reminders for those that already have experience as well. Here they are to date:
