Here is a woodworking marking/utility knife. Vine pattern filework down the tapered tang. Hand rubbed satin finish on beveled side with a 2000 grit finish on back side. This allows easier sharpening of beveled side only while back side remains flat, similar to a chisel or hand plane blade. Koa, green canvas Micarta, black G10 and copper make up the handle.

Very nice! I keep a traditional kiridashi in my shop for marking so appreciate the execution of your version. Well done!

That is just fantastic! The taper of the tang is something new to me and it really adds that extra visual touch. I too do a lot of woodworking and I really cant think of a single thing Id change on the scales, they are perfectly complementary to the blade. Ive got a long way to go!
