I became aware of this fine maker a few years back through an article that was written on him in either Blade or KI. Wish I could remember the issue. But, I believe the story was written by or through a friend of his, Merle Spencer. At the time, I had lamented never meeting Mr. Woodcock, given that I was a regular visitor to Nehalem on the Oregon Coast... but had never heard of him until then, after his passing. I vowed that if I ever had an opportunity to purchase or trade for one of his knives, I would make up for lost time. That happened last night. A friend had brought a bunch of recent purchases to show me and one of the knives was the one pictured. I didn't take a shot of the sheath but it is also done by the maker.

I would love to know more about this man, his blade making methods etc. Anyone out there?

Woody was a great guy! Always fun to see him at his shop and local shows :)

Looking for most any of my late fathers knives, I’m trying to put together a display for Mom (Judy). Specifically interested in his fighters and presentation knives. Any leads appreciated and Thank You in advance. If anyone has photos of Dads work that would be much appreciated also.

Howdy! I was just looking through some of my late Grandfathers knife collection and found this. I'm almost certain he bought this at a gun show in Albany, OR. Mid-late 90's. Google search brought me here and I figured you might wanna see it or whatever. Unfortunately I don't know anything more about it. Cheers!
