WooHoo! I found a tin that fits the "Tweener/Shortie" pouch perfectly!

I really like my BK15 sheath! I like the double snaps on the handle, assuring me that the 15 won't jump out and run away, I like that they are snaps and not velcro, and I love all the options on the back of the sheath which allow me to attach the thing to almost anything in any orientation. I like it even more now that I discovered that Wrigley's Eclipse Mint Tins, 1.2oz, fit PERFECTLY in the outer pouch:

The tins open from the end, so in theory, you could access it without removing it from the sheath

How well it fits

I place a ranger band/thick rubber band on the end to help seal it closed

I have not stowed it all the way into the pocket as far as it will go, as you can tell from pic #2

So far the little tin has managed to fit 2 alcohol wipes, 2 vaseline cotton balls, a button compass, a small sak, a mini bic lighter, 2 safety pins, and a mini whistle. I am waiting to receive a small 3/8"x2.5" firesteel in the mail (I lost my old one) which will be the last ingredient, until I think of something else to stuff in there, like dryer lint or a bandaid.

Chomping on more mints...

I dont stuff my sheath pouches with tins. I just keep my firesteel in my BK15 pouch, a Leatherman Wave in my BK7 pouch....the rest are empty. Nice looking out though. I am sure a bunch of people will go out and get one of those tins tonight.

My wife brought one home a few months ago. I found it when she cleaned out her purse and adopted it! Love the little thing! i've checked every grocery store in my area and cant find them and she cant remember where she bought them from! AAARRGG!!!
So the hunt continues for the elusive Eclipse tins...

Very timely thread! I was just wondering how to setup that pouch. This seems perfect.

If you are unable to find any, PM me your address and I'll send some your way. I'm deployed right now, so mail takes 7-14 days from here.

I had gotten a bulk pack at Sam's Club a year or two and kept most of the tins just because they might be useful so you could check there or maybe Walmart.
