Woohoo, my Izula came in!!!

Hey guys... Been actively browsing the forums for a couple weeks. Yesterday, my Izula came in, and I've already wrapped it.

I think I'm going to have to get more Rat Cutlery knives. I'm thinking to sell my Cold Steel Trail Master. What Rat Cutlery knife would be a suitable replacement for the Trail Master?

Oh man, this is almost worse than Black Rifle Disease.

Just got mine the other day...

Is that tape to finish the knot on the wrapping? Thats not a bad idea!

I used a plastic wrap tie. You can find those off of those plastic bags holding loaves of bread.

I wanted to use a zip tie, but I didn't have any around.

Stop at your local Home Depot, Radio Shack, etc. and pick up some heat shrink. Works great for many things. I put some over the ferro rod that came with the Izula to help protect it until needed.

Get you a short machete and a RC-4 to take the place of your Trailmaster. Lighter package and more versatile.
 
Congrats. I'm really digging my Izula. Wrapping the handle made all the difference. Great little tool.
