My hand is considered "Large" by American glove standards:

First Impressions:
* Appears to be a brand new, un-issued, unused knife [won it in the St. Paddy's Day giveaway]. Handle color is lime/neon-ish green.
* First opening proves it is fairly stiff to open, easily rectified when I find my Allen wrenches.
* The "glide" while opening is very smooth. I cannot detect any grit or any kind of resistance outside the pivot being a little too tight. The swing is very nice.
* The blade locks open with an authoritative "snap."
* There is NO side to side or vertical wiggle in the pivot. It's very tight.
* The black blade finish is PERFECT. I could not detect any variance in color from tip to Ricasso, on either side.
* The blade milling under the finish - was perfectly polished before the finish was applied. I cannot detect a single grind mark on the blade.
* This blade is !!HOLY CRAP!! sharp! From tip to pivot, this blade shaves arm hair without much force or weight.
* The blade etching I believe is done by laser and is perfectly clear on both sides.
* The thumb stud is a little too round at the "top" of it to open quickly [until I loosen the pivot later] but if opened at a normal rate, opens very nicely.
* The jimping is perfect. It "grabs" my thumb with excellent holding power.
* The checkering/diamond pattern on the handle is very "grippy." It somewhat resembles 120 grit sandpaper for my 6" bench grinder/sander combo.
* The pocket clip is very stiff. I might need to add a lanyard to it....don't know yet.
* Blade lock disengagement is easy/doesn't need too much pressure to release the blade. It's easy enough that a 10 year old would probably have no trouble closing the blade.
* The lime/neon green is highly visible even in low light [yes, I turned out almost all house lighting to see].
I'm hugely impressed with this knife for what the price point is. Without having known what the cost was, I'd have willingly paid $50 for it.
I do believe this is going to replace my one EDC blade - the Buck Crosslock Deputy
Thank you J.J........this knife is excellent!
