Hi guys, I found out about 10 minutes ago that I just got $300 for whatever I want, of course, the majority is going towards knives. I will get a folder and a FB, the FB is already set, a RC-4 but the folder is where you guys come in. Iv been looking at the G-10 delica, the FG manix, chinook 3 and BM 710. Any thoughts ideas or reccomendations?
Thanks,

Disclaimer! If any on says to get a sebenza, Im gonna track you down and b**** slap you.:p:D

What are you looking for in a folder? From the last 3 you've mentioned, it looks like you're looking for a bigger folder, but then you've got the G-10 Delica in there. I'll throw in a few more for you to consider:

D2 Paramilitary
S90V CF Military
ZT 300/301/302
ZT MUDD
BM 14200/14205

3-4 inches is good for me, The only things I really dislike are compression/linerlocks and metal handles.

Oh yeah and no assisted either,

$300 is a lot of money for a factory / mass-produced knife. I would keep an eagle-eye on the For Sale By Maker section, ready with my three hundred bucks in hand, waiting for just the 'right' knife to be posted.

Good Luck!

Could be wrong, but I don't think he'll be spending all of the $300 on one folder. In any case, I agree. $300 is a lot for a factory knife. The the Rock Salt is 2 something and looks pretty good, though it is still 2 something...

Actually Im not gonna spend $300 on one knife, I gotta get an RC-4 too:D. And new headphones which leaves me with about $150. (I already had about 60 in my wallet)

which leaves me with about $150.
Plenty of nice fixed-blade custom knives sell here on the forums for $150 or less. Just sayin', in case you weren't aware of that resource and how affordable custom knives actually are.

A folder for $150. Hmmm...

... a Benchmade Mini-Griptillian and a Kershaw E.T. and and AG Russell Featherlite. By my calculations, you'll have to kick in two bucks more than your $150 budget. ;)

Of course you probably already have those knives anyway...

Happy Shopping!

I wuv my 710... even after the first one was stolen by baggage handlers, I shelled out for another one; considering that I don't have a lot of spare cash, hopefully that tells you something.
